Beauty is inherited.

Artisans Co., Ltd.

Tradition,
tied to what comes next.

Kimono design. The teaching of dress. The inheritance of craft. The design of a site. Words, spoken aloud. We are re-threading the skill and sensibility of Japanese craft across five domains.

We redefine tradition,
and through sustainable making,
carry Japan's art and craft into the future.

A word from our founder

Every time I traveled, I received admiration for Japanese culture, again and again. But I found myself unable to locate, within me, words equal to that gaze.

I hadn't yet spoken a single word about the beauty of the country I was born into. That was where it began — facing Japan's traditional craft.

Tradition doesn't survive by being protected alone. It is carried forward only once it functions within the life and industry of the next generation.
